Our Garra Rufa Doctorfish
Garra Rufa fish live for up to six years, they originate from Turkey and they naturally live on dead cells .
We look after our Garra Rufa fish in highly controlled conditions in water that has had the chlorine and chloramine removed and the levels of Nitrite, Nitrate and Amonia are strictly controlled as is the PH balance. The filters are cleaned regular and the water is filtered 6 to 10 times an hour and maintained at a minimum temperature of 250C.
Although they enjoy, and can live happily on, their daily diet, we supplement it with special Doctorfish food to provide some variety for them.
Our Garra Rufa fish are little VIP’s, they are flown in First Class in specially heated boxes and rushed through customs to ensure they arrive safely and in top condition ready to give you the best fish pedicure.
